Flexible led neon

The flexible light cord, which replaces fragile glass neon tubes, is a new word in lighting technology. It has found wide application in decorative lighting, it is used to illuminate interiors and exteriors, it looks great as a backlight for advertising products: signs, information plates, shop windows and shelving in stores.

The scope of its application is limited only by the designer's imagination. They can replace traditional light sources: fluorescent or halogen lamps, incandescent bulbs. A flexible cord is also used for auto-tuning, since it can be used to illuminate the wheels, underbody, radiator grille, and car interior. Flexible cold neon 12V/24V , is ideal for this purpose .

Benefits of cold neon

Flexible neon, which is often also called cold or flex neon, has a lot of undeniable advantages:

·       ease of installation, the ability to decorate architectural elements of any shape;

·       cold light is more beneficial for the eyes, as it does not contain ultraviolet and infrared radiation;

·       low level of electricity consumption;

·       high efficiency - up to 100%;

·       does not heat up during operation, can be installed on stretch or modular ceilings, mounted in wooden furniture, without fear of ignition;

·       the maximum degree of protection is IP68, that is, it can work normally under water, not to mention wet rooms, such as a bathroom or sauna;

·       there are no harmful elements such as mercury in the composition, the tubes are made of PVC/SILICA GEL, so they cannot break and cause injury.

Please note that LEDs work stably over a wide temperature range from -40 to + 50C without flickering. The service life varies, depending on the characteristics and type of diodes used, in the range from 10 to 50 thousand hours, that is, they will last longer than any other light source.

Of course, there are also disadvantages, but they are microscopic in comparison with the advantages: it cannot be installed as the main source of illumination, the tubes can attract dust particles, so they need to be wiped periodically.

The main varieties of neon flex

At the moment, there are two main types of cold neon flex:

·       electroluminescent - the inside of the polymer surface is covered with phosphor sputtering, which emits photons when connected to a network under the influence of a magnetic field;

·       LED - inside the PVC/SILICA GEL tube there is a board with LEDs.

We offer you exactly the second type, which is considered a more modern option. Due to the fact that the luminous elements are located close to each other, their radiation merges and seems almost uniform. With the help of such a tube, you can easily create any lighting effects both in your home and for advertising purposes.
